Biography

A psychiatric healthcare professional who is compassionate, honest, self-motivated, and has a proven history of providing culturally competent individualized care to diverse patients and in delivering exceptional patient-centered care with the elderly, adult, children, and adolescent populations. Habibatu Sesay has 15 years’ experience as healthcare professional and 3.5 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting.

Services provided include comprehensive evaluation, diagnoses, treatment, and continued medication management for psychiatric conditions including but not limited to: Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Anxiety disorder, Major depressive disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, DMDD, Substance use disorder (with medications like Suboxone, Subutex, Subsolve, Vivitrol, Sublocade, and Naltrexone), and Wellness coaching.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2012 from Washington Adventist University, Maryland.
